This synth black marble burl kit is designed to go overtop of the existing silver trim, but you don't have to use ALL the pieces. This kit has a great balance, giving you the best of both worlds if you go with the wood finish. This kit doesn�t look aftermarket like most and really adds a lot to the 4Runner's interior. You can remove the kit down the road if you want, and it won't hurt the silver when you take it off. It will actually protect it and preserve it until/if you ever take it off. A great flowing kit that looks like a million bucks. Be sure to check out the optional overhead kit as well.

A better made kit can't be had that fits like ours with tapered edges where the clear coat ends. Our kits are truly the "Mercedes" of dash kits.

Because this kit is synth wood, the grain will match perfect between pieces, since the color can't vary. The obvious advantage to synthetic wood is the lower cost. The other advantages to synth wood are, flexibility (easier to put on/conform to dash), non-fade factor, replacement pieces (if vehicle is vandalized or damaged it can easily be matched with synthetic), whereas real wood can't guarantee a perfect match. Steering wheel shell sold separately.
