Because this kit is synth wood, the grain will match perfect between pieces, since the color can't vary. The obvious advantage to synthetic wood is the lower cost. The other advantages to synth wood are, flexibility (easier to put on/conform to dash), non-fade factor, replacement pieces (if vehicle is vandalized or damaged it can easily be matched with synthetic), whereas real wood can't guarantee a perfect match.
