UV protected pieces that will not yellow or fade over time. 3M backing is spaced in from the edges of the pieces -- This prevents dust/dirt from collecting on edges. Edges are also tapered down where the clear coat ends giving a nice & "finished" look. This is the same way the dash kits are done. The details are what makes all the difference.
