| 1990 - 2021, Toyota 4Runner This muffler is simply awesome. Jason Burtman of Burtman Industries, has been running this muffler on his own 4Runner for over 4+ years.
What you are getting is the MUFFLER ONLY. You can bring your truck to any muffler shop for the install to be welded on. Some choose to just swap out the muffler and keep their stock tubing. This is the most affordable way for a great sound without much work. Others have chosen to add new piping while adding this new muffler. No matter which option you choose, this muffler is going to make a dramatic difference and give you that V8 sound you've always wanted but couldn't have, until now! This muffler is more free-flowing than just about any other. What does this mean? The more air you get in, the more power you get out. Typical owners have reported more high-end power. This means more "highway" passing power at upper rpm's.
How loud is it? This is a very potent muffler. It sounds great from outside, and you will hear it inside while driving. When you get up to highway speeds it almost disappears. No, it will not sound anything like a modded import car with a high pitched sound. It is a "quality" V8 sound, which is louder than other mufflers and for those that don't mind hearing it. This muffler is NOT for those that want something quiet.
